Basic Petroleum Quantity Assessment Training concludes

10 Officers from various departments of Customs completed the "Basic Petroleum Quantity Assessment Training", conducted by the Customs Academy with the expertise of MCS Officers and a guest lecturer from Maldives Ports Limited.

The main purpose of this week long training was to give a thorough knowledge to the officers on the terminologies, instruments used, procedures and safety measures to be aware of while sounding a ship.

On the last day, the participants visited the State Trading Organization Plc's Fuel and Lubricants storage facilities in Funadhoo Island.
