Certificate awarded to the participants of the Risk Profiling and Targeting International Training course

Maldives Customs Service and Canberra University of Australia have conducted Risk Profiling and Targeting course which was held in Meerubahuru Maalan from 17th till 21st May 2009. The course was completed by 30 Sri-Lankan Customs Officers and the following 4 Maldives Customs Service Officers.
1. Mr. Ahmed Rasheed SCOG 1 Cargo Examination
2. Mr.Ahsan Waheed COG 2 Special Enforcement Operations Section
3. Mr. Imran Mohamed COG 2 S.Hithadhoo Customs
4. Mr. Ibrahim Shiyam SCOG 2 S.Hithadhoo Customs
The aim of this course was to provide the participants knowledge and skill on efficient and effective border management. According to Centre for Customs Excise Studies, the participants from Sri-Lanka Customs were in high spirits when they were in Maldives and enjoyed our hospitality.
The instructors of the course were Associate Director of CCES Mr. Athol Gardiner and Associate Director of CCESS Canberra Mr. Stephen Muller. The certificates to the participations were distributed by Mr. Vijay Vikram, Acting High Commissioner of Sri-Lanka.
