Customs Air Cargo wins the annual “Cargo Sarahadhdhee Cup” of 2009 by beating IAS Engineering in the final match by 5-1. Each year the tournament is organized and held by the “Cargo Ekuveri Club” of Island Aviation Services limited to promote friendship and ties between the various private and government organizations working in the Air Cargo area.

In the group stage of the tournament Customs Air Cargo led the group in style, by winning all three matches and topping the group with 9 points.

In the semi-final match Air Cargo played against Bonito. After an emphatic and closely contested match, the two teams were level at 2-2 at full time. Air Cargo won on penalties by 4-3.

In the final match Air Cargo played IAS Engineering and by half time was 1 goal up. In the second half the team managed to score 4 more goals. The opposition team also managed to score a goal but at the end it proved only to be consolation.

Customs Air Cargo has won the tournament previously in 2002 – the first year the tournament was played-. And after an absence of 7 years the cup is yet again in the hands of the former champions. And this time they have done it without losing a single game in the process.
