A Donation by Environment Protection Agency

Environment Protection Agency has donated five Refrigerant Identification Equipment received from UNEP to Customs. Under the Montreal Protocol of the Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer, importation of CFC gas has been banned since January 2008. Hence these equipment will be used to identify and account for the refrigerants that are imported to the Maldives.

These equipments will be distributed to the relevant Customs offices.
