Customs represented at the National Day walk

Customs participated in the official National Day celebrations by taking part in the National Day Walk titled “Hingaadhamaa” held on 26 February 2009. The march was organized by Voice of Maldives and television Maldives. All major Government institutions, School, Clubs and general public participated in the march which was held all over the country from 16:30 to 18:00 that day. Almost 100 staff from all sections of Customs joined the march in full uniform. Customs officers were carrying banners, expressing patriotic slogans related to Customs work. The enthusiastic officers were received with positive support and awe from the spectators.

CRC who were in-charge for organizing the Customs participation did an excellent job making the event colorful and memorable for Customs.

CJ thank CRC and all the staff who participated in the march for their keen interest for such events.
