Imports increases by 20% in November

The CIF value of goods imported during November increased by 20% compared to November last year. Approximately MVR 2.6 billion worth of goods were imported during November 2015, whereas this year the figure was recorded at MVR 3.1 billion. Among the top importing countries, UAE recorded the highest with 21%, Singapore and India were listed 2^nd and 3^rd with 14% and 11% respectively.
